As Friday was Burns’ Night we took part in some Scottish activities. We learnt more about Robert Burns in a reading activity and were able to answer questions about him and his life.
We began to make Scotland flags with tissue paper earlier in the week. This took a long time to make as there is a lot of detail in the flags. We were even able to help our friends out. The flags look great and will be displayed in the school for everyone to see.
P3 were learning the Military two step with Mrs Duncan and on Friday we had a chance to practise our dancing. The children remembered the steps and were able to stay in time to the music. We also had a try at learning the Orcadian Strip the Willow after watching P1 dancing at assembly.
