Today Primary 7 had the opportunity to visit Bridge of Don Academy. We headed off excited (but with a few nerves!) We were greeted by Mr Haggarty and his helpers- some had very familiar faces!
We then split up into two groups and each group went to English, Social Studies, Home Economics and Science lessons. In Social Studies we looked at renewable energy with a focus on windmills. In English we discussed the skills we use in this subject and did some writing. Throughout the day we had the opportunity to create our own windmills, measure temperatures and mass, use a Bunsen burner and we even made French toast. It was a fun and exciting day. 🙂 Have a look at some of our pictures!
