We had a great week celebrating Scottish Book Week.
We decorated the stones we brought in by painting a book character. Once the stones are vanished we will put them outside in the Reading zone with the stones from other classes.
On Wednesday, we enjoyed Stop, Drop and Read. We stopped 4 times in the day to read with a healthy snack. The children brought in their own books and enjoyed sharing with each other.
On Thursday, we teamed up with P7 to read together. Both P7 and P3 worked really well with each other to share the books and listen to each other.
Finally, on Friday we all dressed up as a book character and attended a Read, Write and Count party. P7 planned fantastic activities linked to the books and activities that the children received in their reading bags. Thank you P7 and Miss O’Shea for all your planning and leading the activities and party. We had a great time!
