Baking with Primary 4/5

As part of our ‘Food around the World’ topic Primary 4/5 baked Shortbread.

We researched lots of different recipes online before selecting some of the countries that we would like to learn about. For our first cooking session we had to work in groups to follow a recipe to create shortbread.

We used lots of different skills while making the shortbread including measure, teamwork and following instructions and all of the shortbread tasted delicious afterwards.
