P4/5 have been doing some design technology. They first learnt about kites and then went through the design process to design and make a kite in groups. They created their design criteria and success criteria as a class. After testing the kites they evaluated them and thought about what they could do next time.
Design Criteria:
- Include all of the necessary parts of the kite.
- Be attractive to look at (colourful and a nice shape).
- Use Recycled materials.
- Use a kite shape that has been previously learnt about.
Success Criteria:
We will know we are successful because our kites:
- Will fly.
- Will have all the necessary kite parts.
- Won’t fall apart.
