Well done to our Star Writers for writing super instructions on how to play their favourite warm up games.
Primary 1 have been exploring different ways to record our learning.
The Critter Keeper (Mr Low) brought Sonic the Hedgehog to our class and gave a very informative talk about him. We had to use the information we learned to create our own non fiction books. We worked hard on them and are proud of our results.
We learned all about foxes and learned how to display our learning on a poster. We worked in pairs.
We also had some experiences in art, creating clay hedgehogs and using oil pastels to draw foxes!
Yesterday P3 and P3/4 were working with Gavin and Erin to learn about tennis. We played some games to warm our bodies up and we were practicing our tennis moves. We worked in teams to practice some of the esstential skils for tennis. Next week, Erin and Gavin will be teaching us about rugby. We can’t wait!
Could we make a perfect square from the quadrilaterals and pentagons? Yes we could!!
P5/6 enjoyed a tennis lesson today from Jack and Erin from RGU Sports. We learned some famous players’ techniques such as, Andy Murray’s excellent backhand! We also attempted some ‘keepie uppies ‘ with the racquet and ball. We were really good at this!
