Primary 3 have had yet another busy term and we can’t believe we are coming to the end of the school year. We have been very fortunate this term to have a P2 parent come in to tell us some amazing stories using only voice and props. Here we are listening very carefully to find out what happens next in the story.
In numeracy we have been learning about measure. We have been using meter sticks, tape measures, trundle wheels and rulers to measure the length of items around the school. When learning about weight we looked at how to read different sets of scales. We weighed classroom objects then used our skills to estimate and weigh a mixture of fruit before making a fruit salad.
Primary 3 also did an assembly for the school based on one of the Braehead values, encouragement. We all had an important role to play in the assembly and we encouraged each other to do our best. We made posters, short videos and performed a song. We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
