We had a class celebration for Burns Day where we sampled haggis, oatcakes and shortbread. It was super fun to have a wee ceilidh dance at the end of the day too! We learned two short Scottish rhymes. You can check them out below.
We have been exploring rhyming words. We made rhyme rockets where we had to think of a rhyming word for given words. We each had an alien character with a funny name and we had to think of as many rhyming words as we could for its name.
We wrote our very first poem in school about Winter. Here are two examples of our lovely work. The first is by Ioanna and the second by Nela.
